I fear that Benden has quite given up hope on our quest to find that elusive pixie dragon. For weeks on end we have done naught but catalogue various breeds of flying mer. This evening we found ourselves examining a rare, freshwater breed that had been placed in a lake in Germany. It was quite the successful experiment in transporting this almost extinct species to a new habitat. Hopefully they will flourish in their new home.

What is this? Benden has just come in and is babbling so excitedly I can barely understand what he's saying. Something about... no. He's got to be insane. Not after the pyramids... he wouldn't do this to me again.....

Is this your version of Alcoholism....a way to escape the world,the real world ? Jessica 'Vestaka' Douglas replies: "Actually I do it professionally. As in I make a living drawing imaginary creatures for magazines, books, at conventions etc. pets* don’t be so quick to judge things you haven’t thought out fully. It’s a known fact that fantasy is very popular in the world, not just the traditional ’D & D’ fantasy, cartoons, comics, even movies all delve into the fantastical world for the entertainment of ... well pretty much everyone. Did you enjoy the Resident Evil movies? Or perhaps Hitman? Those are all an exploration into another type of fantasy, and the creators behind those movies (and games), do that for a living and for the enjoyment of the masses. So in the end, that’s what I do. I provide something fantastical for the people around me, and they in turn keep me and my children fed and able to create more images for them to enjoy."
