First and foremost, Alastor (the blonde) is © Okashichan and definitely a wonderful character... if a pain to draw. Daniel (blue/white/purple/etc haired one) is © me, Jessica

This had to have given me the most headaches, trying to balance these two's coloration. But in the end, I'm terribly pleased with it.

For me, I feel like I managed to capture a little of their rather confusing relationship. Just a bit of the uncertainty between them, the thin thread between violence and tenderness, warmth and cold.

And for those who doubt me... the androgynous appearance of the figures *was* deliberate. To clarify, they are both male... though if that makes you terribly uncomfortable, feel free to picture Daniel as female. He certainly looks it.

It was done in colored pencils, and took longer than I care to confess.
