Shhhhh, trust me. I wouldn't let harm come to you. The cold is just an illusion, did you not ask to be numb?

Come. Take my hand. I will lead you out into the snow, protect you from harm. Just let the ice cover you and nothing will touch you again.

I promised you that I would take the pain... why do you look so shocked at me? Only in taking all that you feel.... can you never feel pain again.

Isn't that what you wanted? Don't you want to be safe from hurt?

Love? Happiness? Their loss is a small price to pay to never feel the burn in your soul as it is torn from you. Or the grief that rips you to pieces.

So come now, come and trust me. I will lead you out into the cold.....
