Sekhmet :) It's for Nov MGC 'Ancient Ones' topic .... She's the Egyptian goddess of sun, passion, fire and destruction. And she drinks blood! (YEAY!) She's is all about passions run to their extremes, lust for life being one of them... a great and powerfull anger being another. =^_^= I can relate to that a bit... The colors (red and green) are particular to her myth as well. I could go on about her legend... but naa.

P.S. The green glow from her eyes going accross her cheek is an awesome affect. It really makes them stand out!

This is the absolute best picture of Sekhmet on all of Elfwood. It is also one of my top Egyptian god/godess pictures. Congratulations on this triumph.

I once read a legend about Sekhmet. In order to calm her anger, there's a god (I think Ra, but I'm unsure) who made some pomgranate juice, and told her it was blood. She drank it, and her "blood-frenzy" finally calmed down...

Oh my god it's been too long since I've been on your site!! I just came back check things out and I looked at this pic again and just wanted to congratulate you again on your amazing success!! And I love how you did her tail!! Ah it's a flaming feather!! SOOO creative. I would almost say that all that creativity should not be in only one person but I would be wrong because if it wasn't then we would not have amazing sites like this one lol...I'm rambling again. Well congrats and good bye!!!
