Hey just thought I'd say that I am such a fan of your work. I absolutly love it!!!!!! It's sooooo good, I just wish I could draw as wonderful as you. mean it's just plain amazing! I wish it could say more, but that's all I can muster up I mean wow!

I´v gone through your gallery now. You got some real talents with the pencil, per now, I think that it´s your best medium. When Starting to use photoshop it is real easy to use those fansy brush-tools (like the grass-tool) but it is just as easy to abuse of them. I feel that your pictures some times get submurged and drown a bit in colors and effects. Like the Couragh horse, gorgeous when drawn in pensil, but the beauty of the horse got faded away behind all the colors in the other one. Still you got talent where it is needed, and lots of it! No need for skills to learn photoshop! My fav is the "yet another elf" and the priestess, cuz girl, you know how to draw!

all of your art looks the same... all of the faces look the same. you have no originality nor do you have inspiration. you only have mediocre talent at best and i would advise you to find a different hobby. all of your art looks like cheap knock off’s of art that i have seen before... usually in hot topic. sorry to be the one to point this out but i believe that you deserve honest criticism and that is that your work is uninspired and unoriginal and you need to take an art class... or two. try making something with NORMAL ears. the pointy ear thing just doesn’t work all of the time. and as you can see i have left my email address for you to swarm me with insults as well. i hope you don’t take this the wrong way i’m just trying to help you. just know that i could have been much more cruel about this but i’m forced to be nice. i could say things like your art is terrible and you should find something more productive to do with your time like sewing or throwing your art supplies off of a flaming building or giving them to a charity for people with talent. or i could say something like you are so pathetic that you will probably delete this even though i’m trying to help you just to make yourself look good to all of your 12 year old fans. good luck at being a nobody for the rest of your dismal life.

Wandered over here from devart to see this scathing post. I'm not going to be a biztch I promise Your art is pretty good for the most part, I am quite partial to your pencil drawings, and your coloured pencils are quite good as well. However I have to say that it makes me sad to see you ruin some of your beautiful pictures by photoshopping them. I guess that primary colours are just not my taste, but that is mvho. I would say go for a few more subtle colors, and stick to a more limited palette(sp?)Try not to cram as much bright/drastic color in one picture, maybe emphasize parts of it and leave the detail to your wonderful pencil skills.

I think you're a wonderful artista!!! It's true that you are skilled at pencil work, but you're learning to use photo shop. Each thing you work on only gets better and better! in a few months who knows how much you'll improve! I know I struggling ps, but i just keep trying! You rock!!! you're very talented and have a wonderful imagination...Don't let Flame-o Dork-o I have not art to Show-o get you down!

Devon, with all due respect, I have to say you DO mean to be insulting and none of your criticisms are constructive. They're just mean. I'm hoping that the moderators of Elfwood can monitor this abusive behavior and ban your IP (oh yes, they CAN and DO do that, you smug piece of cr@p). Jillian's artistic style might not be your preference, but it's uniquely hers, and since I see you don't have a gallery of your own, all I can say is I like what she IS doing as opposed to what you AREN'T doing.

I'd just delete his posts, Jillian. They add nothing to this gallery and makes me feel sad that someone attacked your work. It's uncalled for and cruel.
