SciFi and Fantasy Art Contemplations (color) by Alon Rand

So, when I originally posted this picture, I had grand ideas of coloring it. Instead, it languished in my sketchbook and never got done, as per my usual behavior. But all is not lost! Recently, to generate some content for a new site I'm putting together for myself, I gathered together some of my better sketches and put color, and in most cases shadow as well, to them. Plus, I provided backgrounds, of varying quality, for each. I thought I'd post the results of that effort thus far, and this is one of them. I decided to leave the original B/W versions up as well, for the moment.
