Okay, this is probably among the most deliberately symbolic pictures I've ever drawn. It was part of a final project for a class (no, not an art class. Do you have any idea how incredibly hard it is to take art courses at this university without being in the art school? Gawd, its frustrating....), and I must say, I'm rather pleased with it. I bow down to the Photoshop gods in thanks for this picture, because not only did that wonderful program allow me to complete the thing on time for the due date (as anyone with any familiarity with Photoshop can tell, the background is a simple color gradient), but it also allowed me to fix a couple of the most glaring errors I made in the course of inking and coloring the image itself, which I really can't fix in the original at this point without redoing the whole bleeding thing from scratch. And for any strange and bizarre people who actually want to know what this wierd little spawning of my mind MEANS, well, that's for me to know, and you to find out. hee hee. Seriously, this thing means so many different things at once, it literally took about half of a 10 page paper to explain. So find your own meaning, if you feel the need to do so. And for all you doubters out there (oh, yes, and there are SO many people coming here too...) I hold this up as proof that I CAN still do color. I didn't give up on it COMPLETELY when I stopped drawing comic books characters (if you are totally lost by that last statement, go take a gander at my sci fi gallery. All shall become clear). And once again, I've babbled too long. I'll shut up now.

Well I do this stuff very often but this pic needs something from me so here it is. Well when i came acrossed it i was like WOW and the pic just kinda jumped out at me and all at once i saw live love hate blindness and other feelings that we all may have and it's like this one pic explanes ALL of them at once.

Have you seen those people who do human art--like they all wear flesh-colored body suits and sit on eachother's backs and make different formantions. Well at first glimpse (not going every deep into it, but it made me giggle) this reminded me of human art, but stuck together with bubble gum.

I think its kinda gross. Its like your skin is streatching and tearing. It gave me the shivers.

Oh, I get the other one I didn't get before! It's ignorance! He's shielding his face from the sun because he wishes not to see it *quick little happy dance* Did I get it right?

I think the symbol is supposed to be some major emotions kinda separating themselves from a solitary body. One is agony, another joy, another love (the one with the blindfold, because love is blind), and I don't quite know what the other one is. Sorry if it seems like I copied someone else's review, this is what I think and when I review I don't read many other reviews for that picture until after I post mine. See ya!

Wait, I think I put too many emotions. Let me try again. The blindfolded one is either love or justice (both are considered "blind"), the one looking at his hand is peacefulness, the one screaming is agony, and the one shielding his face is ignorance (he wishes not to see the sun, therefore he prevents himself from doing so). This is my opinion, at least. However, whether I'm right or wrong, this picture is awe-inspiring. Keep up the great work!

Talk about a split personality 12

I love this picture. My vision of the story behind it is that whoever the guy is has different personalities. The one upward to the right looks sorta happy while the one up to the left looks mad. The one under the Upper Right One looks like he is in agony and the one at the bottom with the headband probaly doesn't have an opinion on anything and is "dead to the rest of the world".
