SciFi and Fantasy Art Elana- Mother of a Hero by Alon Rand

For those of you who actually come here semi-regularly, you are probably aware that there is another picture posted here with a similar filename to this one. That's because this is the second attempt at fulfilling this commission. This is for the same commission as Lance, the boy with the wooden sword and the dragon shield. This is Lance's mother, and a powerful sorceress in her own right. This second shot at drawing this lady was taken with a much more positive response than the last, and was accepted. I finished it quite some time ago, but for whatever reason I never posted it here. I decided I was finally going to take a little more advantage of the vast number of pictures we are now allowed, and post some stuff that never made it here before, or was taken down for space issues. For the sort of thing I usually do, this is actually rather pedestrian, but it accomplishes its task well enough, I suppose.
