SciFi and Fantasy Art Telara, Silver Dragon by Alon Rand

Its shaded now! I've not been completely idle! It is now a shaded drawing. In time, it may get inked and colored, though I wouldn't count on it. This is the main character to a story I'm working on. the story will be available to read as soon as the Wyvern library is up and running, so any details about her character will have to wait for that. Suffice to say that this is a very much unfinished picture, as well as a bad scan job, so have a little forebearance in your comments. :)

7 Sep 2002	Charissa ChosenFlame	Loading... Ive been through most of Lothlorien and THIS is one of my most favorite dragons... Its EXACTLY how I envisio my own dragons in my head. AND FINALLY a dragon with mammal like ears not these, finned flapped open useless tufts!Very elegant pose, her anatomy is nicely done. I do have one peice of constructive critisisim. The finger joints and bones that make up hher wings seem a bit to fragile to hold a dragon of her stature.Otherwise, this is truly beutiful!.. In fact.. its my favorite of the bunch! Alon Rand replies: "Actually, if you were to read the story from which she comes, in my Wyvern Library page, you'd have seen a mention of the fact that dragons don't fly solely with their wings, anyway, they use magic, because a creature of that size couldn't actually reasonably have working wings. (they can't, you know. the aerodynamics of it would be nearly impossible with something that large)"

I'm an avid reader so, if possible, keep me updated on new portions to the story and new art fer it. ...Telara is very pretty by the way.
