Tag As FavoriteComment		Shamir waits alone by the Dragon pond under the full moon. Will She come tonight to keep him company? Will anyone at all come..? Wavering between hope and sadness, longing for someone who will not run off in fear at the sight of him. This dragon body may have saved his life, but it also robbed him of it. (Shamir is one of my original role play characters, a man trapped in a dragon's body.) This painting was mostly an experiment. It is only the 4:th serious oil painting that I have ever done. I'm still a beginner. It's not quite done either, it needs more work, but I think I need to rest from the oil paint for a while. -_- Please note that it is not smoke coming from his nose, neither is it the phenomena you'd see when breathing on a cold night. Shamir is an air/water kind of dragon and his breath consists of cold vapor, in other words, he breathes clouds.

That is absolutely beautiful! I love how you have used oils to get such clear textures and vibrant colours. This is wonderful.

Oh wow! I love this! I not usually that keen on dragons, but I love this one! I love the silvery blue colour and the background is beautiful! I love the way you've done the pool too! 1

Originally, I did a reflection of Shamir's tail in the pool, but then I painted over it, cause I couldn't get it to look right. =/ Glad you still liked it, though. I'm happy that even one who normally doesn't like dragons can appreciate the painting! ^_^"

Beautiful. I love how you created so much depth from using paint, and I love the colors. I also noticed the hihglight of the moon on the pond. Beautiful! Keep it up!!
