Tag As FavoriteComment		This little cuite is another of my role playing characters, a mute little tora (tiger) girl, name and history unknown. (The japanese writing on the picture reads 'Akaihane' and translates into Redfeather, my online nickname.)

This must be one of your best pics.
In this case the absence of shade or shadow on the floor doesn't matter. The character fills up the whole paper by itself and has no need for a reference to space or surroundings. The pic is fairly white, but the relatively thick and black lines uphold their right and give the pic great balance (along with the tail and the greyish hair). Furthermore, The shape of the figure, the comparatively big part in contact with the floor gives the impression of weight and substance.

:-) Emma JC Nilsson replies: "*lol* Are you bored, Fläder-kun? =)Thanks for the comments. I like the pic as well, even though it's not one of my favorites. As on all of my character pictures, I focus on the figure and nothing else, I wouldn't even concider making shadows or background on a drawing like this. The thick, dark lines give a neat effect, it almost seems drawn in coal, though I only used a normal pencil."
