And here is it, the male Regalis Gryphon in colour.
His main colouring is very earthy and subtle in comparison to his remarkable red markings. Actually, the tips of the headfeathers are slightly turquoise.

The coloured versions give them much more character.

It's very pretty and the detail on the feathers and fur is outstanding. The eye looks awkward, however, because the flesh around it looks almost cut open.

Coloured versions really do seem to have more character. I noticed that after I uploaded my coloured pieces.
