I overtook the design from the Cutis Cataractas to the Cutis Scolopendra, which is similar to the other species but a lot smaller.
Their bodies are transparent and the organs look through slightly. It depends on how teh light falls.

Since they are like meduses, they swim in water only and don't rest on sharp stones or reefs like the Cutis Cataractas. There is still much to do on the design of their face. Main point of this picture is the back of the head.

I hope you enjoy.

This is very cool! This could be the CD cover for a Pink Floyd album!! Really for out, I love it!! Great creaativity!

Wow, really cool. I agree with everyone, great work on the delicate lighting (you'd expect reddish light to seem harsher--nice anti-cliche there) and on the transparency. The 'brain' structure looks more like lung structure, but I interpret that as reflecting the way the mind is as crucial in life as air 2
I usually find the combination of red and that cyan-blue kind of ugly, but in this case it actually looks more than good! I'll definitely be looking at this pic again.

This is one of my favourite pictures on Elfwood. This is lovely and it seems like you really thought this through, like how the creature was going to look. I hope you don't take this badly, but it reminds me of some thing like a fetus of a human that is still growing and in a delicate state of growth. Very nicely done.

Very calming for some reason....

Wow.
This picture is amazing.
It's funny how you'd expect a creature who's brain shows to be repulsive.
However, this is quite the opposite.
She is beautiful!
I cogratulate you on this VERY well earned mod's choice!

Wow. Wow.
I agree with that person who said it looks jellyfish-like. Its really beautiful and delicate, with an otherworldly, etheral feel. The name fits it well too. This looks very aquatic, I could tell even before I read your description. I also admire the background, strange as that might seem, because it looks rough and yet refined, plus I like the colors red and black Great job on the transparency here, with all those subtle highlights and the way you can tell that the brain-y stuff is in his/her head. Very graceful piece!

I just ant to know if there is any conection with ur scolopendra and the real life scolopendras, or is it just a cool sounding name 2? love the piece btw.
