Hi!
I've been planning this picture for a long time. Now I finally got around to paint it.
Yay for being burnt out...I don't even know how to describe this picture.

It was sometimes a real struggle but I got there eventually. The background and the colours went through big changes during the painting process.
I spent most of the time thinking where to set the next brush stroke and especially thinking of which brushes to use. Sometimes unplanned pictures go a lot easier than ideas which have been planned thoroughly.

I like the contrast between the winter snow and the spring grass. I always liked fantasy pictures that do that.

This is truly stunning and inspiring! I love the use of colours and light and the mere idea that spring/summer is a beautiful wolf lying under the snow waiting... it’s fantastic! Love it! Love the details too, everything from the tiny glitters on the snow to the leaves and flowers! 2
