| 25 Jan 2003 | Lightpaw | Loading...Hmmm... good sword! Not technically a sabre, however. Sabre have rounded guards, with straight, triangular blades. This is more of a broadsword-type thing, with a bit of Japanese influence. Also, the handle and rings aren't practicle. The rings would prevent a clean slice, and the handle would be unweildy and awkward to use because of the bend. Still, good idea! I look forward to seeing more of your work. | |

| 16 May 2004 | Anonymous | Loading...Good display of ability to design fantasy swords. I have only one piece of advice, the sword handle is a bit flimsy looking because while you gave texturing and a bit of shading to the sword blade and the scabbard the handle appears to be flat while the rest of it remains finalized. | |
| 8 Jun 2004 | Jesus | Loading...I REALLY like it... but how would you get the rings into the scabbard? just wondering... and to all those guys who says "how are you gonna wield it?"... well... who says that a human is going to wield it???? | |
| 17 Jul 2006 | Anonymous | Loading...You know, the 8- or 9-ring broadsword was developed, along with a specific swoed style, to combat the tai chi sword and martial art. A skilled fighter caught his opponents' blade in the rings, and then snapped it with a sharp twist.
Enough history. Good blade, and nice crossgard. I dunno about the handle though. | |
