The sword that is carried by Sir Galahad who is the eventual grail winner in the Arthurian Legend. Initially it belonged to Sir Lancelot, the famous and bravest knight of the round table; but later realised that the potential & powers of the sword will only be brought to its fullest potential in the hand of the purest person who wields it; he therefore decided to give up to his son. Lancelot being the very model of chivalry and was victorious in almost all battles he sets upon is however ironically denied the quest for the Holy Grail coz of his adulterous affair with Guinevere, Arthur's queen. Galahad was however conceived by Lancelot and another woman, Elaine; again the irony here is that it's this union that resulted in the chosen Grail Knight. The Sword of Righteousness has led Sir Galahad and its predecessor to various victories but if its such a righteous and pure sword, then why the skull-like decorative head-piece at the end of the handle? That is the representation of the irony of life and that nothing is perfect.

Actually, 12 knights, according to Arthurian legend, achieved the grail: 3 English, 3 French, 3 German. Sir Bors, son of King Bors, and Sir Galahad, son of Sir Lancelot, were two of the French knights, and Sir Percival, son of Sir Pellinore, was an English knight. The backstory on the sword is extremely accurate. I like your drawing; the skull on the top is a good example of irony. Keep up the good work, dude.
