The Cyclopes were one-eyed giant that were mentioned in Greek Myth, there were 2 generations of Cyclopes and the picture showed one of the first generation cyclop known as Steropes, which is aptly translated as Flasher ( no pun intended here ). Steropes is one of the 3 brothers; the others being Brontes ( thunderer ) and Arges ( brightener ) who descended as a result of the union between Gaia ( Earth ) and Uranus ( Sky ).

The second generation of Cyclopes were those descended from Poseidon, the sea-god. The most noteable Cyclop being Polyphemus who was mentioned in the Odyssey by Homer. The first generation Cyclopes were skilled in the art of metallurgy, they were the inventive blacksmiths of the Olympian gods and were credited for creating Zeus ' thunderbolts, Poseidon's trident and Hades' Helmet of Darkness.

In the great Battle of the Titans, Zeus enlisted the ally of these Cyclopes in overthrowing his adversary Cronus and the Titans.

The showing of the sexual organ in this picture is deliberate and necessary ( hope that nobody is offended ) as I wanted to depict the savagery and masculinity of the Cyclop and if you've observed the hands they are exceptionally big; this is to convey strength and power of these colossal blacksmith.

I think it is perfect (well, the image would feel more complete if there was a background to be honest).

I really love your gallery, you show such dedication to the background studies, especially with Greek mythology.

(And I suggest you ignore those anonymous comments, if someone can't even leave a name nor contact details, they can't have a very high maturity level in their opinions either).

A lot of stories mention the Cyclopes being the skilled at metalwork. Zeus had the cyclopes make the silver bow of Artemis (Apollo’s was made by Hephaestus.)

The first generation Kyklopes were not savages like their human-devouring second-generation counterparts.
