SciFi and Fantasy Art The Dragon Sabre I by Aleister Lam


	The uniqueness of the design here is the handle which I designed it to be like that of a dragon with its mouth gripping the blade of the sabre. This is the first of my dragon sword or sabre design with I will be posting to this gallery, hopefully the next update.

16 Nov 2001	Eric Wright Fulford	Loading... While the handle is great, I really like the shape of the blade. I can't explain it, my eyes are simply drawn to the blade in this picture.
11 Apr 2002	Meshakk Strihe	Loading... i agree, the blade is odd, at worst. But i rather enjoy it. It seems to warp from scimitar to claymore, somehow. sorry, thats how i can describe it. eh hem, anywya, keep it up.

9 May 2002	Andrew Mills	Loading... I'm glad that I am not the only one who is fasinated and can draw old or custom weapons and freaky creatures.very nice dragon concept. The blade looks very impressive. However I would like to make a few comments to your great drawing that could possibly make it more so. The body could be longer and curling around the handle. Next I think that the blade could take the shape of a long thin flame coming from the mouth. Hope my opinions are helpful and I am interested in putting some of my own art on here. Please send me your response at the above address.

Great job, but, me been a prick, I have to point out some things. 1-That would be a rapier. 2-Because sabers have knuckle/hand guards, and for very good reasons. 3-I know this because I do saber, try fencing with a foil when your opponent has a saber....new version of bloody knuckles, and you always loose.
