| 10 Jun 2004 | Anonymous | Loading...Umm, without the hooves, it looks like a dragon. Also, they don't have sharp teeth, and are very gentle. Their eyes aren't like that either. I'm not really a criticizer, but if this is how you think the kirin is like, fine! I think it is very pretty. Just to tell you what to look out for the next time you do a kirin. | |

| 1 May 2005 | Katherine E Liu | Loading...This is closer to the traditional creature. It isn't really a unicorn, if it were a unicorn it would have one horn, not two. There is a lot of confusion between the Kirin, Chi-lin, and Ki-lin\Qui-lin. One is a deer-like unicorn, the other is a deer-like unicorn with dragon scales, and the other is deer with the scales and head of a dragon(which is the one you drew here). Not even I know which one is which, there is contradicting information on many sources. Much of the confusion is due to translation. Nice job on the scales. | |

| 6 Mar 2010 | Anon. | Loading...the kirins or qui-lins are gentle, pure spirits, just like the western unicorn, they are not fierce nor carnivoreous ( hence the teeth and claws) | |
