That blasted Peter Jackson and everyone liking him... Well, after being thoroughly unimpressed by the Sacking of Isengard (see a pattern emerging?) I'm going to get right on to the PROPER Dagor Angrenost. This is Treebeard scouting out Isengard, Saruman plotting away happily in his tower, blissfully unaware of the wrath that will be unleashed upon his fortress...

Thank you! thank you! finally a GOOD vison of isengard, a lot better, looks a lot more like isengard would look like in the book.

Bravo! Brilliant interpritation!
Love the ents.

:-) Alexander J. Harron replies: "They're a sort of toned-down version of my uber-mega-ultra-muscle ents. I'll probably fiddle about with them to make them less Conan."

How could you expect Saruman to ignore the ents saking his fotress. I don't get it....what did P.J. do that was so wrong?

:-) Alexander J. Harron replies: "PJ did a lot right with the films, the good outweighing the bad. It's just a shame that he could get so many things right and yet some things so wrong, but then it was bound to happen. Besides, most people weren't too bothered by PJ's Ents, so it's just the sound of one man complaining anyway..."

bravo its marvelous truly brilliant i think uv got god proportion of mountain to woods and luvly graphics which bring a stronger feel of realism. Culd u possibly do a pic of Saruman at the balcony next talking with the rohirric compan that would be really good and a challenge to your interpretations and visual ideas(we all hav ideas as to what it looked like)

:-) Alexander J. Harron replies: "Perhaps at some point, I might return to Lord of the Rings. Maybe after the movie fever's died down a little."

Made me laugh when I saw Treebeard just standing there like..."OOOOH!!!! I HOPE YOU CHOKE ON YOUR EGGS, SARUMAN!!!!" I really like it.

P.S. You ever notice that in the Two Towers movie, when Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli are at the Gap of Rohan, Legolas says, "The Uruks turn northeast...they're taking the hobbits to Isengard!" .....well....honestly....you'd be taking quite a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG route if you turned northeast to get to Isengard....quite a LOOOOOOOOONG route, indeed....so my assumption is that either Peter Jackson doesn't know his directions very well, or Orlando Bloom got his line wrong. Just another reason to dislike both of them.
