This is one of the most affecting scenes I've ever read in a fantasy book: those of you who've read it will know that this is the moment Zarozinia impales herself on the cursed sword Stormbringer, allowing it to suck her lifeforce from her to give it to her love, Elric.

I'm a big fan of Michael Moorcock, so I felt I had to put Elric here somewhere. (A more detailed description will be put up when I can)
