My first picture published in the Woods! This is a pen drawing I did of a Gryphon, the eagle/lion hybrid beast, striding atop the crest of a mountain, surveying the realm.

Wow! the detail!!!! *in awe* I know I shouldn't say anything about it but perhaps the head is a tad too big?Or if the isn't true is the body a tad too small? Its probably just me and it's probably just right. But I am a retard sometimes. The wings are awesome and all the detail!
*extremly jealous*

:-) Alexander J. Harron replies: "Heck, say all you want. I guess the head is a bit big, but I guess it could be a little griffin... but then again, ever seen a griffin? Plus I always welcome comments. And don't be a retard, your comments show otherwise! (sits back smugly). Serisouly though, thanks!"

Holy crud that's good! I love the pose, angle, and detail...actually, I like all of it. Excellent work!

:-) Alexander J. Harron replies: "Good Grief, you said Crud! i thought I only still said that... oh well, thanks very much. Love your dragons, by the way!"

Ooooh how Beautiful and dangerous doesn't this look... I love you style, and th way you draw... You should really try to draw some more of those creatures, they're so beautiful... the way you had drawing it (with shadows and all that) are incredible... Keep up that awesome work.

(Sorry if there is wrong spellings, but hey I'm not even an English-talking guy, I'm just a very weird girl from Denmark 1 )

Love Alexandra 1

:-) Alexander J. Harron replies: "Wouldn't worry too much about your English, sounds fine to me! And thanks!"

I would say the line of the belly does not match the chest, but besides that, the overall pic is of a majestic and dangerous creature of great beauty and presence. Oh, depending almost entirely on where your name came from, Harron could possibly come from Har Arron, the plains or lands of Arron. But that is only for middle-eastern origin. Will have to think on Celtic or Germanic. And please allow me to boldy plug my gallery, and gryphons!

:-) Alexander J. Harron replies: "Most kind, many thanks! I don't think I have any Middle-Eastern lines, but my Dad's side is from Eastern Eaurope, my mother's Irish. And shameless plug gleefully allowed!"

Great job! I'm obsessed with gryphons, and this is really great. Love the way you did the talons!

:-) Alexander J. Harron replies: "Thanks!"

Love the way you've done him! The talons look great and you've got a definite sense of realism in there as opposed to the cartoony style that i often see gryphons portrayed in.

Great Job! Just as CC, the part where th ebird and the lion part meet, the head is a bit fat. And the feathers are lining pretty flat to the neck. Great pic though!
