A fun little picture of an uncommonly brave little goblin. Stupid, but brave. medium: gel pen, touched up on Adobe Photoshop.

Oh, very pretty! 2 I love the detail you put into the cloaks and figures and the contrast of dark and light, black and white. Lovely character design too!

:-) Alexander J. Harron replies: "I guess I can do something right! After all, Chiaroscuro is my middle name! Well, actually it's James, but I wish it was Chiaroscuro... Thanks!"

Ooooh, I unconditionally love this pic! It's my favourite so far. It has a lot of character, something I think some of your computer rendered artwork lacks a little - probably cause of the nature of it, not through any fault of yours.

:-) Alexander J. Harron replies: "Unconditional love? Wow... And I agree wholeheartedldy about my computer stuff, I guess I liked the cleanliness of it at first. But that gave it a sterility, and I decided to just forget about it and stick to more natural drawing. And this is one of my favourites too!"

how visions can diverse, even after so much description by Tolkien, still your image of a goblin looks a lot more like for example Jackson's Gollum than like his goblins.. I don't know what to think anymore. Actually my image of the goblins in The Hobbit are even slightly different from the image I get every time I read LOTR. weird, and actually quite terrible. I hate me - me being a superfan and all that.
Love the pic. sorry for the subjectless stories I put you up with.

:-) Alexander J. Harron replies: "I didn't have Tolkien in mind, I just wanted to do a little goblin finally standing up to a big monstrous knight. My vision of Tolkien's Orcs/Goblins is REALLY different, possibly to be seen soon...?"

go go go go go kill him

:-) Alexander J. Harron replies: "Maybe the big dude'll fall over under the weight of his armour onto his sword, and the little dude'll just say he killed him."

I like the pose of the big guy.
He looks very casual, like he is amused at the
goblins' threat.
