Yes i agree with the above....Its very sweet indeed....Luthien is very fair and sweet while her hero is nobly fallen....Good work man

She is not going to break his neck you artards! Think of it, he is a big strong man, she is pretty, frail elf girl, all she can lift is his head. She is consumed with grief and clinging to him him with all her might, wishing against hope that he will open his eyes.
I belive Alexander has captured the emotion of the moment well.

Emotion really gets you when you see it up close. Reminds me of when Beren died for the first time and Luthien pleaded with the Valar to bring him back.

Yes, everybody turn away from the Lord of the Rings geek...I won't mind...
