On an unstable and changing world, the lifestyle of the nomad is no longer a choice, but a necessity. In this harsh existance, those who are coping the most confidently are the Drkkrn, the Horned Company.

The Drkkrn, while not inherently hostile, have become an intimidating and unreceptive civilization. They rise on the backs of H’rn Dunes, which are fierce but loyal beasts. Each Drkkrn family has their own H’rn Dune, and all ride on their backs by day and sleep beside them at night. Lone males and females have their own, smaller beasts that are their best companion through life. The Drkkrn live a largely nomadic life that is, like all the new Peoples, inextricably linked to their steeds.

Though most of the Drkkrn people are not aggressive, every Drkkrn beast is a beast of war when the times dictate it, and there are some herds who have taken it unto themselves to destroy the Predator Horde, and rid the planet of their savagery. The Horned Nemesis antagonises predator packs across the land, attacking their enemy with great ferocity and ruthlessness. Sadly, because of their vulnerable situation of being a small herd in a hazardous world, they frequently conflict with other herbivores, boldly harassing their kindred, and even came to blows with the mighty Lrnthi thunder cities. Whether their efforts bring equilibrium or chaos to the world, only time will tell.

Wow. Very strong. Great drawing and colouring. For such an imaginative subject. Truly amazing. It lets me breathless.

Looks like you incorporated dinosaurs into your work after all. I really like how it actually LOOKS like they're charging, and not some still-shot thing that I've seen so many time before...it looks like the sand/dirt is rising up in clouds from the massive-ness of these beasts, and it makes me feel pretty sure that once you get these beasts started in a charge....it's gonna be pretty hard to stop them. Nice.

Great atmosphere in this one. Reminds me of Burroughs’ Mars-books.
