The thumb-nails do not reveal how good your finishing technique really is, which suggest to me a weakness in your composition. Secondly spend more time drawing from life, there is no better way to understand natural positioning and proportions. Last take all the time, you need. Its really not a race. Professionals take gobs of time to do their work, we amatures should be willing to work at least as long.
Again your finishing technique is excellent, if it wasn't I wouldn't waste my time writing this. I look forward to seeing more excellent work from you.
