SciFi and Fantasy Art Dwarf Barmaid by Alex Pass


	This is for the user manual for a german rolplaying game called 'Terrillion' - http://terillion.kuhno-web.de - which is being designed by Christian Kuhn. He asked if he could use my 'knight', 'golem' and 'wicked leprechaun' pictures for the game and I offered to draw any other pictures he needed. I am not so keen on the way her face turned out - maybe she needs a beard :)

9 Sep 2004	Linzie	Loading... Wow you almost never see people draw female dwarves. Everything is usually tall and slender and perfect, elves basically. But yes she does look more like a halfling. I always pictured dwarf women more stout than that and with more hair. But still a great drawing nonetheless. Alex Pass replies: "You're right, stockier build is what's needed. It's a fantastic drawing, but it looks eerily similar to my mother ~ who happens to be a bartender [although she's not a dwarf]. shivers What's even scarier is the fact that she wore a "bar-wench" outfit one Halloween fairly resembling the one in the picture! I wonder if you’d be interested in doing sketches for some of my wife’s D&D Characters, we both play dwarves and believe the dwarf women should have beards, we found someone that can make us characters from artist’s renderings, but my wife and i are both artistically challenged...PLEASE!!
