SciFi and Fantasy Art Mermaid Kiss by Alex Pass


	A mermaid and merman about to kiss. Drawn in pencil then scanned into photoshop where the watery effect was created using a couple of opaque cloud filters and a ripple effect. I like the faces and hair best, and also his arm.

28 Jul 2004	Leigh 'Katt' Berggren	Loading... This is very pretty, and you did a good job on the anatomy... except for the hands. Her hand is way too small and seems to have no bones in it, and his wrist doesn't narrow enough. Men with very muscular arms do have thick wrists, but they LOOK narrower because of the tapering of the muscle. Hands and feet are tough, though. =) I spend a lot of time studying my own hands for reference. Alex Pass replies: "Yeah I agree. Dificult to use my own body for reference though when drawing muscular men - being a 9 stone weakling myself Hands and feet are tough, thank goodness there's no feet in this pic "
