SciFi and Fantasy Art Piper by Alex Pass


	Decided to draw a Pied Piper character but wanted him to look quite dark and moody. Not sure if I succeeded or not. I like him anyway. Drawn in ink.

4 Jan 2004	Lun-Sei Sleidee lun_sei@yah...it>	Loading... Wooooow!!! The Pied Piper!!!! My favorite fairy tale!!! And he like the fact he looks a little... disturbing. After all, someone who could do those things isn't exactly your average merry singing bard thing is he? Alex Pass replies: "Yeah, I was trying to go for a slightly darker image of the piper and as you said, he's not the nicest guy in the world."
9 Sep 2004	Jesse Harber	Loading... I like this pic, but I was looking at it and something seems to be a little off. Could it be that the waist and arms are a little narrow? Anyway, nice to see a pic of my namesake. The_Pied_Piper Alex Pass replies: "The waist and arms are too narrow but intentionally so - kinda going for a tim burton feel. Cheers for commenting."
17 Nov 2004	Zara	Loading... Awesome! I do not know why, but it reminds me of a ganster guy from the twenties..... Nevertheless, I can see the pied piper. The crossed legs really enhance the imagination to think of him. Alex Pass replies: "Hmmm... i do not know why either Maybe it's the extreme black and white? The crossed legs were meant to look like he was kinda skipping along, but not sure it turned out right."
