A man attempts to rescue a girl from the sea and the tentacles of a Kraken. Will they get away? I don't know. Drawn in pencil.

Great posing!!! *applauds with enthusiasm* Vary nice indeed...
And a great job on his expression, as well. He looks a bit more tired than scared, but an awesome job, still.
*s* I never have to leave empty-headed (or -minded) when I come to take a spin in your grove. *a respectful bow* So until we meet again, kind sir...

:-) Alex Pass replies: "I see what you mean about the expression. I was aiming for kinda knackered but determined. Thanks for visiting again but I've told you before about this bowing nonsense 2"

What can you do... *bows* This habit is quite stuck with me... *bows* And besides, it goes quite nice with the slightly ironic moody sorceress as which I see myself in my head... *bows, duck any attempts on getting knocked out and makes a disappearing spell*
'And her triumphal cynical laughter dangled in the air for a moment before it was carried away by a whimsical wind...'

:-) Alex Pass replies: "So if all this bowing is ironic does that mean you don't mean it? You wicked wicked ironic moody sorceress you! 12"

alrighty then, this one isnt one of your best but the feel is still there so i give it a 11 out of ten..haha. OH and cute commetns above. I'm not a socerous just insane..which suits me perfectly well thanks 2 *hugs my I-love-me jacket*
Anyways..since i'm browsing and pointing out things might as well help the starving artist. Though i doubt you starve you're stuff's really good 2 the hand on the woman, actually the whole arm the second half down going towards her wrist seems a bit enlongated, making the hand seemed smaller than it is. and the thumb looks al ittle big.or maybe it's the hand in general that's a little small. I'm not the greatest at critquing so bear with me 2 back to the hand- the park where the pink is, the angle before it gets to the pinky (the palm part) seems a bit odd..making her hand look scrunched (i love hands and they are hard to do too! dont judge my hands by my site..except maybe ghea cause the stuff in thtere is so crappy 10) i like the background on this one..it has one! so i can safely say that hehehe. once again the foot is a little small..seems to be a tendancy of yours (if that was my only tendancy i'd be weeping..) and the person above me was right on the expression..but it's still funny..poor guy looks like he's bench 200 and cant hold a gilr ho looks like 120 lbs. haha

:-) Alex Pass replies: "Okay... phew, another essay 12 Yes this one has a background for a change although I hated doing it. I'm not sure I agree with you on the proportions, I think they're pretty good for me, I dunno. Also, he's not got that expression cos she's too heavy, it's cos he's carrying her whilst running through water away from a sea monster 17"

I like it! It's cool. But I can never seem to draw a figure like the girl in this pic. Anyhoo, nice job! Kep up the good work!

:-) Alex Pass replies: "Thanks. As for your own drawing, try using reference pictures or get someone to pose for you. Also practice practice practice."

Nice pic! But some points, I think it's the shading at the lady's elbow that's making it look a bit off, like her arm's really bulging out from there, and the man. Does he have a neck? I know well-built people have broad necks but... he doesn't have any at all!

Other than that, please just keep it up 'cause... well. It's some really good work in this pic.

:-) Alex Pass replies: "Thanks for commenting. I don't think I agree with the elbow, but his head could certainly do with being moved up a bit. Cheers"
