Ok then: this is an image from something that was never supposed to be seen by anyone other than John Hughes and Disney reps. The animation was a test of meta-clay in Softimage to show that Flubber could be animated using this strictly-modeling tool. Since I was the one who had suggested it, they told me, 'Ok Philip. Do some animation with this stuff. Make it look good. And, oh, put a butt wiggle in there.' Ok.... A week later, I finished up with this 45 second piece, using the model I had designed and built. They took the tape East to show to the John. I was terrfied. He loved it. He loved it so much, they put it in the trailer (they edited it into two pieces, added a bounce morph, and plastered the crdits onto its butt). image copyright 1997 Disney. all rights reserved.

you actually didn't even do that. You just took the picture out of the movie. wow. you have no life. Your eye picture is amazing though.

So u did make it but u didnt(sic) design the actual fluber(sic) right? they made that and u helped it dance?Sorry just trying to understand

:-) Philip Edward Alexy replies: "you see, ILM actually was in charge of coming up with the design of Flubber. tho most of the general look work was done by the art director, pretty well all of the 3-D building and rigging was done by me."

You'll have to forgive the skepticism around here, it's not very often you find professionals on Elfwood ;o) But it's all too often you find copycats unfortunately....Anyway, this is so cute 19) I saw the movie though I don't remember much about it, but I remember it made me want my own pet Flubber! ;o) Love the pose! He looks like jello....19) So how come you don't have any animations on here?

Haha...Pretty cool to see a professional here on Elfwood! This little guy totally stole the show, as far as I’m concerned. You do good work.
