| 19 Aug 2003 | Emily McDurman | Loading...Oh, wait a minute... *Googles for a second* *Squeals in delight* WOW!!!! This is so good!!! I love the pace and the imagery, and also the rhyming... *feels so special* and it was written for me?!?! I'm so glad your ticket was modded before mine!! *hugs* ^_^ Wow, this is so great... ;-; *cries* I could kiss you!! My favorite part was this: "The road I travel is always rough My enemies, they make me tough Against men I have fought the fight To stay alive another night
"Ever weaving memories Embroidered in a tapestry I am the last of a dying breed An elven knight on trusty steed
"I’ve fought in battles; I’ve got the scars From swords and daggers; from worlds afar And now I go to rest away, For I have seen better days"
I couldn't figure which I liked better ;-; OH THIS WHOLE POEM IS FANTASTIC!!! *huggles you again* Thank you thank you thank you!!! | |

| 7 Oct 2003 | Aurélie Scarborough | Loading...This is so sad. Of all the things he's lived through, he has only a tapestry to remember his lifetime, and that's all that's left of him. It's like a great warrior who has become nameless through the passage of time. It really makes me sad. | |
| 13 Oct 2003 | Elizabeth Wilcox | Loading...this is lovely. it reads well-rhythm and flow are excellent. also, I just really like the leading phrase "embroidered memories" it's beautiful. just what one could want from a poem | |

| 15 Dec 2003 | Kaykamisch | Loading...Tapestries and warriors can still connect, remembering stories told in some tapestries...stories of battles and legends told in woven pictures, embroideries. Some warriors from Medieval times would carry a sort of tapestry (nothing large or anything) made by a loved one, and many loved ones would depict their warriors in their tapestries. For a bit of a spin, the memories could be remembered by a warrior looking at one of his own legends told out in a tapestry, or a sort of 'spirit' or 'soul' (not a ghost or anything, just an essence of memory), being part of a tapestry, remembering what made it what it is... That's a lot of digging into it though. I love the whole symbolism of it, BIG fan of symbolism. This turned out nice. | |
