I feel kinda guilty about the trees. Someone comented that they were really good in another picture, but it's just a tool in my art program. I'm not verry good when it comes to backgrounds.

Trees like that are easy when you do them in pencil. I suggest you try it. All they are are puffy bunches of green with a bit of shading. Shouldn't be too hard.
It's the griffin's head that worries me. It looks a little funny. Should the eye be brought a little closer to the beak? I'm not sure. The rest of it looks good though. I like the feathers and the beak. Good stuff.

hmm...lots of smudge tool used here....I use iot a lot my self, so im not complaining....just, you can tell thats what you used....trees are nice....even if you didnt personaly draw them *wonders off wondering if her copy of photoshop has the tree thing...*

:-) Alicia Griffon Lady Lochbaum replies: "Thanx a bundle!!! Actually, I used spray paint mode. My smudge tool was on some weird setting, And I had never seen a smudge tool with any other settings than smudge (I had verry old programs.) so I used the next best thing, a verry opeque, low density air brush setting.
About the tree tool-If this helps any, the program I used was Paint Shop Pro 7."

You used Paint Shop Pro, didn't you? 12.

Nice work on the stripes. Maybe you should start putting your griffins on mountains and rocks and stuff so you don't have to do plant growth as much. drawing grass around the bottom of their paws is tricky.
