Another fun one. ^_^ One of two gryphons I’ve ever been requested to change after the pictures were received (at this point, any way.) The beak and ears were too long. The ears were simple enough to shorten, but the beak is the trickiest part of the gryphon, so I use the smallest stitch on the machine next to button hole stitching just to secure it. Poping stitches that small is nearly imposable, especially with the thread matching the color of the fabric so perfectly, so I added the cere to make the beak look shorter, and the dear lady agreed that it made the beak look shorter and she approved. ^_^ Thank goodness. I don’t think I had enough of that color fabric to make a replacement head. **whew**

Did you make this? If so you are a truly talented person. I might try to make a stuffed animal. Wonderful. Looks so spiffy.

He’s so lovely, very ’Northwest’. I live in Washington and I think northwestey gryphlings are neat. the beak shading, with the dark tip, is really wonderful and looks totally real!!! His toesies are brilliant. Are they faux leather? How do you make those wee little toes with faux leather? I always just use polarfleece... I’m glad the lady liked him. His eyes are pretty.
