The pale colored pencil on dark background really looks dramatic (don't tell me it was a cheesy "inversion" in photoshop), and the anatomy of the spider and wings is exquisite. We have no spiders that are poisionous to humans, few nasty insects (although the wasps can get a bit vindictive) and only one type of poisonous snake. Alicia Griffon Lady Lochbaum replies: "Yah. I live in a good part of the states. Too cold for the local rattle snakes to be around the valley, only an occasional brown recluse bite in the area, and no leaches. Leaches give me a serious case of the heibee jeibees! But we do have lamprey eels at certain times of the year. **shudders**" | |
