5/28/2008- Wow, just wow. It's been like 5 years since I've updated. Then again, I pretty much stopped drawing several years ago. I don't think it can simply be called 'art block' at this point, but I just can't finish a picture. Most of the time I can't even start one either. X_X I'll try to make something new though.

My profile has read "is an 18 year old high school girl, etc..." forever, but I am long out of high school and will be 24 next month.

Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Movies and TV Shows
I like the old episodes of stargate SG-1, before it got dragged out and crappy. I also like Lost. Mostly though I like anime. It's so different from anything you see in the western world.
Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Books
Anything by David Brin.
Favorite Music
I like symphonic rock. Enomine, within temptation, nightwish, also classical, opera, and j-rock/pop.

Dear Miss Stowell:

I blundered onto this Website by happenstance: I sometimes use the moniker 'Angel Mourning' as a pen name and wanted to see what a Google search turned up. One of the other artists here had a piece by that name. I noticed a comment on your work - something to the effect that it was more profound than anything he could think of - so I clicked and was drawn by the photo (you've a noble forehead) and your self-explication. Then I looked at your pieces. While I don't wish to disagree with any of the favourable criticism appended, I don't feel the need to add any. Two questions, however: 1) what is it that you see in anime? 2)Why ever would you think your work unsaleable? One recommendation: if you haven't already, read Paradise Lost, if nothing else Book II. Blake's works, I am convinced, you already know.
