One day in class, I impulsively doodled a dinky-looking robot on my notes. This was kind of a big thing, because I never ever ever draw anything remotely mechanical, because I completely suck at it. But apparently drawing dinky old-fashioned looking robots is a bit easier. Anyway, the doodle eventually evolved into this oekaki (drawn with a mouse, way before I got my beloved tablet). And the robot himself eventually evolved into a main character in a dinky NaNoWriMo novel I wrote. The moral of the story is, doodling in class ALWAYS PAYS.

Hmmmm . . . This kind of reminds me of the picture book in Chobits that Chi always reads. The one about the human "for me alone". Just the sad expression and everything. The picture here's very pretty and strikes a melancholy chord. *nod* Good job!
