SciFi and Fantasy Art The Circular Mezzanine: Elly by Andrea L. Peterson

This was a story I've been sitting on for a while, intended to be reminiscent of The Labyrinth and all those classic lost-girl stories like Alice in Wonderland and Wizard of Oz. I actually ended up writing the story out and making a bunch of illustrations for a web site class project. This is the heroine, Elly, sitting around at a loose end before her weird adventure begins. I haven't gotten much practice drawing interior backgrounds, so I was rather pleased with how this came out.
