I don't want to even think about how long it could take putting details on all those orcs. I have a small suggestion though...I'm not sure if this will help or not, but the human eye can only focus on one distance at a time..sometimes it is best to set one distance as fully focused and then have background or foreground objects slightly out of focus(blur in photoshop)..I don't know if that's too wise here though because so much detail was put on the fort..,but i'd definately try it on the mountain range | |
| 24 Aug 2002 | Dark | Loading...This is a cool pic, but 2 be perfectly honest, I liked it just as much with the explosion. Having said that, well done for having the vision, and the effort to take the time (all these years later) to perfect it. Art is just as much for your own enjoyment as anyone else's. Well done! Alistair Hamilton replies: "Thank you. It's funny how the unfinished version seems to be getting a greater response than this one. I prefer this one and it brought me immense satisfaction in finishing it. It would be nice to have the original like this in all its A2 sized glory." | |

| 5 Jan 2008 | Stephanie S. K. Marbach | Loading...Hm, funny... Why did you take out that bomb thing from the unfinished version? Cool how you changed the hair of the blond guy ! Yeah, in fact, let me tell you that i like this version better, too! That bomb thing indeed was not that suiting the picture somehow... It was a bit too sci-fi... | |
