Hi Allen, once again I made a tour through your gallery and enjoyed every picture you've created. You have the most magical figures in Elfwood, that's for sure! And the way you draw them is excellent.

I went to your Deviant Gallery too, I'm glad I did, you are a master in portraying people. Is there anything you can't draw? 2

:-) Allen R. Palmer replies: "Thanks for the visit and the compliments!I "can't" draw from my imagination at a steady flow. It's like a faucet and its usually off 8. My imagination still runs wild I just cant turn the knob and apply it. I think thats the difference in being a pro and an amature. I hope all is well with you and your family and thank you again for visiting!"

Hey, I followed your link through Annekes page and found yours. All I can say is WOW. I agree with Anneke when I say you DO have some of the most creative (and well portrayed) creatures here in the woods. Nice job!

:-) Allen R. Palmer replies: "Thank you very much for coming and visiting 2"

Hi, I like your use of shading and textures a lot. (I have really to improve in these two things). Liked your DA gallery as well.

Bye, Maarten

:-) Allen R. Palmer replies: "Hi Maarten 2. Thanks!"

Among other things, the sense of urgency and movement in your work is terrific! I’m always a sucker for sepia tones, too. 1

I love that "Half-orc color" image. Would it be OK if I used it in a PDF, not for profit, with you credited? It’s perfect for what I’m doing.

:-) Allen R. Palmer replies: "Sorry Shawn, that one cant be used. Thank you for your interest though 2 - Allen"

Youre welcome ^^ Yeah, im still in the learning stages of digital art, and I dont really do traditional anymore, so most of my gallery wont be up to my standards for traditional media. I may upload some good traditional work sometime...when I get around to it I guess 10 I really see more potential in digital painting than pencil drawing however, so its unlikely that ill be doing a whole lot of pencil work anymore. Perhaps I’ll get into sculpting somtime soon though. And thanks again for the comment ^.=.^

How do you got that brownish color effect?

:-) Allen R. Palmer replies: "Buy adjusting the pencil work in Photoshop 2"
