Me: I am a girl. I have long brown hair and eyes that change color with the weather and everyone's health. The rest is not worth mentioning. I've been here for awhile now. It's hard to believe that three years ago, I was a high school student looking for the answers to life's mysteries in a diet coke can. Now I am a slightly psychotic Chemistry major who still isn't sure what to do with the life ahead of me. I think the answer is still the same. Write.

Well, now it is time to cut my drivel short allow my stories to do the talking. *turns on a great big ol' sign with Hall of Fame on it in ten foot tall neon letters*

My Inspiration: The reason why I write. This is very much a philosophical piece, mixed with my normal fantasy oriented way of looking at the world. It has its own flaws, but it occupies a special place in my heart as my first mod's. Read it if you want to think.

Voyager's Hope: My training wheel story that has turned into a blue whale sized brain child over the years. In it you will find anything from romance to gladiator fights to swashbuckling, and, of course, lots of magic. It is always geting rewritten as my skill improves. It started out as my idea of the perfect story. Read if you want to be entertained.

The Exploits of the Female Elfish Junior Journalism Society: I classify this as a "Flicker" or a story that I wrote for the sake of the ride. Because of that, the ending is severely lacking, but the body itself has a certain flair that I like. I mean, who doesn't like to see underage fairies let loose on society with the mission to "print all blackmail that fits?" Read if you want to laugh.

How Great Thou Art: This was a trade with Yolaron through Bifrost. Lots of dragonses, and some philosophy. Second part is still in progress. Read for a cool point of view.

Heart: Previously known as "Heart of a Hero" this is the second reincarnation of this story. Rhiannon was one of those characters that come to you with such force that you have to sit down and write then and there. Sorrowfully, it was the middle of the school day, and I had musical practice scheduled for that evening. Where did my priorities lie? I had sixteen pages written by the end of the day. Heart is a swashbuckling, swordfighting, hard choices sort of story. I've been told it reads like a movie.

The Piper: A creative writing assignment that got out of hand and took over several things that I was saving for something else. Now it is a full-fledged brainchild. Who was the Pied Piper, and why did he do the things he did? The second part earned a mod's choice on 9-16-06.

No Stars But Streetlights: My latest creation. For once, I fiished a stand alone story that fits all on one file. It's a fun romp with religion, gore, lots of fog, and demons.

Twelve Pairs of Moccasins: An older idea that was finally utilized in my 2006 Nanowrimo. This is another grab-bag sort of high-fantasy story. What happens when you put together a failing dynasty, a goddess with a thing for shoes, a princess who just wants to find a man, and a bodyguard caught in the middle? Have fun.

It is my custom to reciprocate visits to pages. I sometimes don't leave comments, but I am trying to break myself of that habit.

'Hear the voice of the Bard! Who Present, Past, and Future sees. Whose ears have heard The Holy Word, that walked among the ancient trees.' - William Blake

Hey! Thanks for the comment on Being Fey... Glad you liked it but sorry if it was a downer for you... I get so tired of happy endings.

Well, cheers! More soon!

:-) Anne Lee Zimmerman replies: "It wasn't too much of a downer! I liked it. It had an ending, which is more than can be said for most of my stuff. "

Hi Anne! I wanted to return your comment and, wow, I'm so glad I did! You've got some great stuff here. I try to read and leave comments on stories besides the ones everyone else reads, so please don't be offended when I head straight for your novel and non-MC stories *grins*

:-) Anne Lee Zimmerman replies: "Oh, not at all. I'm delighted! They were looking so lonely over there without any comments! *is so totally humbled by the high praise*"

You're writing is weak...

:-) Anne Lee Zimmerman replies: "And your spelling is atrocious. Sorry, all joking aside, I try to improve. Maybe if you told me what exactly was weak? Some of the stuff up here is rather old. "

I started reading "Heart" and "Heart 2", and I am totally addicted...it is amazing. I can't wait til the rest comes out. You are an awesome writer. Keep it up!

1 Anne Lee Zimmerman replies: "Thank you very much for the wonderful compliment! I love contributing to the addictions of the world. I'm in the middle of finals right now, but I'll see if I can get more of Heart revised and posted during winter break. "

Thank you sooo much...you are totally my hero of the day! I'm going through finals too right now. I actually should have been studying while I was reading your stories. Oops, my bad. You rock!

:-) Anne Lee Zimmerman replies: "*passes over a butterbeer* Here's to procrastination!"

Oooh!! i am so excited! thank you, thank you, thank you! you are totally my hero of the day. 2

:-) Anne Lee Zimmerman replies: "Thank you very much. I'm glad I'm someone's hero. I hat eto rain on your parade, but it will probably be a while until the next part comes out. This is one of the only stories up here that I don't have a healthy backlog on. I've just realized I'm not too good writing in episode form, so I need to sit down and do a couple dozen pages at once and then find ways to split them up and post them. I'll try my best to hurry up, but VH and the polishing of Twelve Pairs of moccasins are my current tasks. "
