Come on, Russel, you don’t have to get so technical. And besides, HOW DO YOU KNOW that THERE AREN"T female angels? Are you God? I feel that there are female angels, but they’re just not talked about like the male ones. Maybe they have a different job or something.

Anyway, I really like this picture. Love the pink! Frankly I don’t think this one looks as angelic as your other one, because of the color, it kind of makes me think of Valentine’s Day. But it is still really beutiful!

The colouring suits this drawing well. I like the general theme, meaning heart in the frame in the background, the heart necklace, heart tied to her ancle, hearts in the belt and to boot: the characters pose is heartshaped.

This is a comment to Russel: The question, actually, is do I care? What if I’m a recovering Christian? What if angels are not symbols of "God" to me anymore?

Don’t preach at FANTASY artists about religion, or about THEIR OWN INTERPRETATION of a FANTASY creature (angels are not creatures reserved to Catholicism).

geh, I totally hate to get sucked into these things but... Russel! you need to get some things straightened out. Michael is not God’s son, Jesus is. Just because all the arch angels are male doesn’t mean there aren’t female angels. That said, wonderful pic Selena, don’t ever let anyone ever stop you drawing thigns like this
