SciFi and Fantasy Art Undead Mage by Alton Lawson

The Mage was a leader of a very powerfull cult of magicians. They had a terrible war against human society in a post apocylapse world and lost terribly. Their Leader (pictured here) was mortally wounded. Using forbidden Necromantic Magics they threw away his remaining humanity and turned him into a Lich. To be revived someday to wreak vengance upon his enemies and rule again. Over a hundred years in a tomb has of course made what was left of his sanity, leave, with no forwarding address. Painted in Oils on Canvas board.
