GAIA
A man calls the Earth
“Gaia”
and he says that we’re all
part of what’s going on
in her, on her, around her…
It may be true,
Because I can feel that connection
Through my feet, my legs, my hands
If I lay them flat upon the ground.
It’s real,
This energy, synergy, power
Flowing, surging, moving
Like blood
Into me
From the ground.
It’s real.
I can feel it.
