My character Mystra and her husband Irorthorn unwind after a long time of adventure.
The natural scenery was my first try at Vue (an amazing 3D landscaping program I've just laid my hands on). Then I rendered the characters, the helmet, spellbook and sword in Poser and put everything together in Photoshop. There's a truckload of postwork in this - water effects, many character anatomy fixes, clothes on the rocks, mountains on the horizon, highlights and shadows to bring it all together... it was good exercise!

Poser Pro, Vue Pro and Photoshop 6.

8Runs away with the shiny sword while they're busy swimming* Bwahahahaha!

:-) Amanda Kümmel Magalhães replies: "OH NO! That's just mean!! (Wonder how one of the trees would perform as a club, in a cinch...)"

looks amazing! And only a couple of textures on back and on the trees look like they were made in a 3d program. The rest looks very natural!

:-) Amanda Kümmel Magalhães replies: "Yeah, I didn't pay much attention to the background... I'm background-challenged it seems. =) But I did put much effort into a natural looking foreground. Thank you for the compliment!"

Bwahh!! You know what he's staring at. Anyways! I love her pose. It's elegant, yet taunting at the same time. Super nifty! And yeah, I can't get over the guy. He's trendy!

:-) Amanda Kümmel Magalhães replies: "LOL! Trendy ogre! He'd be flattered, if he still existed. =) Thank you for the compliments!"

What an interesting couple! They fit together so well. I love the atmosphere and the water. Beautiful work!

:-) Amanda Kümmel Magalhães replies: "An odd couple, for sure - but the ogre is tenderhearted and the elf is slightly psychotic, so they kind of meet on the middle ground. =) Thank you so much for your kind words, I did put a lot of effort into this piece and I'm glad it succeeds on looking like something cohesive, since it is a mix of different medias."

One can not notice you used so many different tools, so the many hours of postwork (the most essential part in making such a picture) were not in vain.
Funny thing is I just played a scene just like this a month ago with my friends in a Hungarian rpg, the only difference was that the guy had hair and no helmet 12

She is beautiful and so is the setting. He's kind of ... huge. Is there some giant blood in his heredity? He seems almost twice her size!

Kind of endearing how he's posing for her, though, the big lug...
