It all started with me fooling with the paper. That's why her left side is missing. =) I was tired of the strict youthful beauty standard, so I decided to make her a little older. She appears sullen, and I like it. Her hair is an experiment of mine with different shades of... well, of hair. Her enchanted earring is a tiny dancer. Her eyes look old and tired -- tired of having visions about the tragic future events she cannot reveal. I know there are many flaws here, but it was fun and enlightening to draw. =)

4 Sep 2003		Loading... Wow, amazing piece. I really like it, a welcome change from the utterly perfect youthful stereo type elves. Very misterious, and I like the half face thing, very intersting. This was my first attempt at a 'realistic' face, with lines around the eyes, wrinkles on the lips etc. It was actually only a study on facial features and hair."
