This piece was the result of an art trade I had with Kissifur of Norrath's Studio. But what she wanted was actually a messageboard avatar, so the main result is a tiny, shrunken portion of this. Well I had the high-res version, and would hate to see it go to waste, so I sent her this portrait of her character also. The 3D wolf was atrocious, so I repainted it completely, eyes, nose, every tiny little hair on its fur... *faints* It was nice as a challenge though, I had never even drawn a wolf before, much less painted one. =)

She looks like my mom...it's kinda scary how much they look alike.

:-) Amanda Kümmel Magalhães replies: "Really? That's interesting. And, I should say, your mom must be a beautiful lady! =)"

Oh my, the hair, the hair.... *faints*
Awesome!

:-) Amanda Kümmel Magalhães replies: "*drools* Isn't it gorgeous? (If I remember correctly, that is the 'Kyoko Hair MK-3' by Kozaburo, a modeler of awesome 3D hair!)"

Beautiful work on the hair and eyes. Very realistic; I hear poser is a tough program to use, (I mean, if you want to do something really good.) Keep it up!

:-) Amanda Kümmel Magalhães replies: "Thank you so much! In my opinion, Poser is quite easy. It's not 'real' 3D creation software, in a sense that you do not have to model things from scratch, which is surely the trickiest part. But, as with almost anything, it takes some effort to know all the little details so you can make it do exactly what you're aiming for and render something pleasing to the eye. It sure is a very fun piece of software, though! =)"
