This was an attempt to give new life to Lysanor, my old wizardess alter-ego who never got herself more than a hurried sketch, poor elf. Now she's back... engaged to a half-elven paladin... and a redhead!

Entirely done with a Wacom tablet, and a really lame version of Photoshop.

HOW COOL!!!
i LOVE her hair!
FIRE!! yeah.
seriously, its very nice. 2
you did the "fire effect" with photoshop?

:-) Amanda Kümmel Magalhães replies: "Hi Sam! Yes, all with Photoshop, a bad bad version of it. Eek."

Hey I was crusing around and I found this, well it grabbed me, kinda round the throat lol. I love it, especially the way her hair merges into flame as it flows past her shoulder.

For a lame bit of software that is pretty damn cool!

:-) Amanda Kümmel Magalhães replies: "Thank you! And yay, now I have Photoshop7 - just have to find the time to draw more =/"

I'm so sorry, but I have to agree with Renée Lorraine Pawlowski!! 14 No, really, the yellow parts of her hair just look like lightning. But, all right! If you want it to be fire, it IS fire! 12 Keep it up, dudet!

:-) Amanda Kümmel Magalhães replies: "I really gotta practice painting fire with Photoshop, I see! *laughs* =) But anyway, fire, lightning... a wizardess has to control both, right? So I suppose it's ok either way!"

Here I am - again - to comment this piece of art... 14
Although I'm no fan of paladin-characters, this is a quite astonishing picture...
And no, it doesn't remind me of lightning 12 I immediately saw your intension to bring fire in her hair 2

:-) Amanda Kümmel Magalhães replies: "Thank you! She is a wizardess though... yeah, that was supposed to be fire, but oh well, my Photoshop skills aren't good now, they certainly were horrible back then =)"

I absolutely positively love her hair.
It struck me immediately as fire,
but the yellow strands look a heck of a lot like lightning ... I know what it is....The hair turns too sharply...If you know what i mean. Lightning is wirey, and well, the yellows look wirey....So yeah... You did an awesome job on making it look like fire at the ends of her hair....
Also, on the top of her head, it looks like the flickers of flames...Hehe...I've been staring at fire too long....Well that's it...Great job!

:-) Amanda Kümmel Magalhães replies: "Oooh... you are right... now I see where people have been finding lightning! Thank you for pointing it out! The 'flickers of flames' on the top of her head were intentional, glad you like them!"

She makes me think of electricity -of it would be embodied, I'm sure it would look like this XD
Keep it up!

:-) Amanda Kümmel Magalhães replies: "Ok, ok, it's electricity, you all win! *sigh* =D"

Wonderful coloring! I especially like the fire effect on the tips of the hair. 2 I tend to think ears would start a little lower, though- the top of where it joins the head at about eye level? But it's not major. Just a peeve I have, I guess. 12 I love the expression on her face!

:-) Amanda Kümmel Magalhães replies: "Thank you for your kind words! About the ears: since her head is bent down, her ears tend to seem like they are higher than normal, when they are actually in perspective - at least I hope I could render that without making her look too distorted. And I like BIG elf ears, so that might have added to the effect you pointed out. Oh well... =)"

ooo...hey I like the hair and the brooding, is it? eyes... or at least they look that way a bit, ya know, all shadowed and glowing. oh I wish that I had her hair. so pretty.

:-) Amanda Kümmel Magalhães replies: "Thank you! =)"
10 Jan 200545 Bride to be
that would be a nice EQ PC

:-) Amanda Kümmel Magalhães replies: "Well, she was my first serious EQ character actually. =)"

here's just a rude and yet strangely thoughtful suggestion, to give her new life, especially since she looks like such a power-character, why not "rename" (essentially ur not really) her Lysandor read THAT out loud, LLLLLy - SSSSSaNNNNN - DDDDor -- LySaNDor / Lysandor -- now THAT is a power name! Then again that is me and you are you, and this is just anutha wacky suggestion, Mae Govannen, outlander!

:-) Amanda Kümmel Magalhães replies: "Ummm... no, sorry, it's gotta be Lysanor. Thanks for the suggestion though! Tenn' enomentielva!"
