Tag As FavoriteComment		This is a picture of an originally desert race that is close cousin to the SurZ'elfrin people. The big differnce between them is te ears. Whereas the SurZ'elfrin have long drooping ears, the Z'elf adapted short fuzzy ears to keep the sand out of them. Thier features also tend to be softer. SurZ'elfrin tend to be hawknosed and chiseled features, while Z'elfrish features tend to look, as one person mentioned 'like the sands of their world had worn away all the harsh edges...' Thier eye and hair coloration always varies from a dark gold, to a sandy color, to a summer meadowgrass color. Only One exception to the rule exists as far as I know.

Very nice. Simple, but with personality. Are they tall and slender as well, or is that just the impression I get from this drawing?

:-) Amber Merrill replies: "I'm glad you like the personality I've imbued in it... Alot of my freinds have told me they how I'm sometimes able bring my pictures to life...And to answer your question, yes they're average hight tends to be a little taller than normal human average height, but a couple inches shorter than the SurZ'elfrin. But nobody would call them slender... While the SurZ'elfrin tend to be slight and slender, the Z'elf could only be called sinewy."

Fuzzy ears!! Nice character design ^_^ I like the detail of the ears - it makes them seem more realistic, actually. Y'know, all suited to their environment *thumbs up* Lovin' the hair
