	This is just a concept sketch trying to get a grasp on different ways to draw a mermaid and then I decided to fully shade and finish it. I think she's really cute. Maybe someday I'll color her. :) Pencil

17 Aug 2002	Erin	Loading... I really do love your work, but all of the faces you do seem to have an obvious imbalance. You always seem to slant your faces to one side making the difference terribly noticable. Not trying to be mean, just letting you know what I see.

AAAHHH! v. pretty....love the hair...your hair is always v realistic...the two peices of hair coming down to cover her up somehow remind me of sea kelp...which is fitting because she is a mermaid. Just one itty bitty comment: can mermaids stand up on the very tips of their fins like that? she should be sitting or her tail should be bent...but i do love the shading in at the bottom...yay! Amber Lynn Hooper replies: "In reply to your question, no I don't think that mermaids can stand up on their tails...however she's floating in water, and just is vertically stretched out "
